Electrical and Electronics Engineering Design and Technology

This course is an electrical program for students who have a basic knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. It is of interest to licensed electricians, and technicians. It is intended to provide students with an understanding of electrical control processes, control time sequences, and program skills based on the Allen Bradley SLC 500 family (if possible, operating RXLogix 500 on computer). Emphasis will be on practical working procedures through PLC and relevant products.
Introduction
Our college provides a newly updated PLC lab with all the necessary equipment and network so that the students can get hands-on skills. The Robot lab can allow the students to develop the ability to operate and program for industrial robots in the authentic industrial environment.
Career
Graduates are in high demand throughout the manufacturing sector: automotive, aircraft, communications and consumer goods. Graduates can be hired for positions in the following industrial areas – technical sales and service, manufacturing and maintenance, and integrator (automation houses).
