Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Sunview College is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 and is required, under section 53(1)(a) of the Act and the Ministry’s Policy Directive on Key Performance Indicators, to publish its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for vocational programs.

KPIs are calculated and published by the Superintendent of Career Colleges and are intended to help prospective students, employers, and the public make informed decisions about career college programs.

The Five Key Performance Indicators

  • Graduation Rate — the percentage of students who enrolled in a vocational program and successfully graduated within the allowed time period.
  • Graduate Employment Rate — the percentage of graduates in the labour force who were employed within a defined time frame following graduation.
  • Graduate Employment Rate in the Field of Study — the percentage of graduates employed in a field related to their training within a defined time frame following graduation.
  • Graduate Satisfaction Rate — the percentage of graduates who were satisfied with their training experience within a defined time frame following graduation.
  • Employer Satisfaction Rate — the percentage of employers who were satisfied with the graduate’s preparedness within a defined time frame following graduation.
