Some of our programs do include a mandatory practicum period as an integral component of the curriculum. These placements are meant to provide you with the Canadian experience necessary to find full-time employment after graduation.
Our Career Services works with you to help place you where you can be most successful and gain the most valuable experience in your field. If you qualify for financial assistance, and after all documents are received and filed properly with the government, OSAP could take up to three weeks to provide you with your funding.

Students must possess a minimum of a Grade 12 education or equivalent OR mature student status (18 years old and over) and pass our entry assessment. Post Graduate Programs require education and/or practical experience as well.
Sunview College has shorter programs that enable our graduates to graduate sooner and join the workforce.
Additionally, we have small class sizes, taught by instructors who are experts in their respective fields. They will be your mentors and advisors as well, and are more than happy to offer career advice and help with the material.

A Second Career candidate is an individual who is either currently on Employment Insurance, or has been on EI for some time since Jan 1, 2005, and is looking to study/train in a different field than their current profession.

Bring your latest resume detailing your past work experience and educational background. If possible, also bring copies of your degrees or certificates with you to see if you qualify for having some of your credits transferred.
