Mechanical Engineering Design and Technology (CNC & MasterCAM)
The need for personnel with mechanical engineering skills continues to rise not only in the manufacturing sector but in service and consultancy industries as well. In the manufacturing sector alone, mechanical engineering skills are in demand in companies engaged in the production of automobiles and parts, consumer durable, machinery and equipment and metal fabrication etc. However, new immigrants, despite having necessary mechanical engineering qualifications and experience, continue to have difficulty in finding jobs which relate to their background, the main reasons being lack of Canadian education and Canadian work experience.
With the help of Sunview’s Mechanical Engineering Diploma Program, our Graduates have found jobs in their own career path related to mechanical engineering. This program prepares students to confidently handle projects in the mechanical engineering, design and consultancy areas. Students receive intensive training and thorough skills. On completion of the program, students acquire competency and skills to work as design engineer/mechanical engineer or drafts-person.
